Line for enterprise networking across borders
The branch is overseas but the systems are back home, so the working day turns into waiting for a response. SD-WAN networking puts head office, overseas branches and people working from home on one network, so reaching ERP, OA and file servers feels like being in the same office — over a dedicated path rather than the public internet.

Systems are slow to reach
Overseas branches wait a long time for ERP, OA and file servers back home, which holds up month-end accounting, order entry and similar work.
Sending data over the public internet
Customer lists, quotations and design files travel over the public internet with no encrypted path, which is hard to defend on either compliance or confidentiality grounds.
Every new site starts from scratch
With a traditional leased line, each new site means another application and another installation, and weeks or months of waiting that the business cannot keep pace with.
How a line solves it
Many sites, one network
Head office, overseas branches, warehouses and people working from home all join, with internal connectivity between sites rather than each building its own.
An encrypted dedicated path
Point-to-point tunnel encryption between sites. Your data is not relayed through public proxy nodes.
Adding a site does not mean starting over
Open another site, ship a CPE there and connect it, and it joins the existing network. You do not have to redesign the whole thing.
Internal and external traffic separated
Local traffic uses the local exit, and only traffic that needs to reach other sites or cross a border takes the line, so each location's existing office network is untouched.
What we would configure
- Suits
- Two sites or more, or a team with people permanently working from home or posted abroad
- Typical sites
- Head office at home, overseas branches, overseas warehouses, factories, staff posted abroad
- Bandwidth
- Assessed by headcount at each site and the systems in use; video calls and large file transfers need a higher tier
- How sites connect
- One CPE per site; individuals posted abroad can connect with a software client
- Cloud connectivity
- Existing cloud resources can be connected as needed — describe your current architecture when you get in touch
- Minimum term
- Rented monthly, priced by number of sites and bandwidth
A networking plan depends heavily on your site topology. It is worth putting your current network together first — how many sites, how many people at each, which systems they need to reach — and then the plan can be settled in one conversation.
FAQ
Will it affect our existing network architecture?
Usually nothing has to change. The CPE connects after the existing router at each site, with split-routing rules: local browsing carries on as before, and only traffic that needs to reach another site or cross a border takes the line. If you run your own data centre or have particular security policies, raise it while the plan is being drawn up and our engineers will work through it with you.
We have one colleague posted abroad. Do we have to ship a device to them?
For a single person, a software client is enough; a device is not required. For a fixed site — a branch or an overseas warehouse — we still suggest a CPE, with the whole office sharing one line. It is steadier and easier to manage.
Is this service compliant? We are a legitimate company and we care about this.
This service is for ordinary cross-border office work and business communications. The network path is provided by upstream carriers holding the relevant telecom business permits, and IPTOYO acts as the service provider handling access and technical support. When using it you must still comply with the laws and regulations of mainland China and of wherever you operate. If you need to inspect the licensing documents, ask your consultant when you get in touch.

The price of a line depends on the node region, the bandwidth and the number of lines, so there is no one-size price. Leave us your requirements or contact support, and a consultant will propose a configuration and a price for your situation.
